I'm trying to postprocess my Abaqus results through Abaqus2Matlab. I have succeeded in using it for usual analysis ( with no subroutine).
However, I'm facing difficulties when i need to use a Fortran Subroutine. I tried including the word interactive after the Inp-file (like said in the tutorial) but it still not working. can you help me ?
Thank you in advance,
Best Regards.
Well received, thank you.
I have sent you the function Rec1901.m by email. Regards.
Thank you !
My email is: noussaiba.graine@insa-rennes.fr
Best regards,
Dear Noussaiba,
A bug has been already reported in the function Rec1901.m. Please give me your email or contact me by sending an email to the Abaqus2Matlab work team from the "CONTACT tab of this website, or by sending an email to gpapazafeiropoulos@yahoo.gr to send you the corrected version of this function. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Ok, thank you very much. I have another question please. When using Rec1901 (Node definitions), I obtain this error msg:
Non-finite endpoints or increment for colon operator in index, Error in Rec1901 (line 83) a1=str2num(Rec(ind1:ind2));
How can I fix the problem ?
Thank you in advance,
Best Regards.
Currently it is not possible to use Abaqus2Matlab for running Abaqus with user subroutines without Fortran. In a future version of Abaqus2Matlab this capability will be included. However, your issue will be taken into account by the Abaqus2Matlab work team and you will be kept updated about any progress made towards this direction.
Best regards,
George
Thank you for your prompt replay. Indeed, the error msg is: USER SUBROUTINE UMAT IS MISSING. How can i link Abaqus with the subroutine through Matlab ?
Dear Noussaiba,
It is most likely that there are problems in linking Abaqus with Fortran. Could you share the exact error statement that is issued by Abaqus (in the dat, msg or log files) in order to try to help you fix it?
Best regards,
George
