Abaqus2Matlab v.3.0
A new way to post-process FEA
bottom of page
Hello,
Abaqus2Matlab can of course perform mesh sensitivity analysis. Please see below the steps that have to be taken for this purpose:
1) Determination of the necessary parameters which will determine the size of the model or the density of the mesh.
2) Construction of a Matlab function which will take these parameters as input and will create the Abaqus input file as output.
3) Decision upon which results from the Abaqus analysis are needed in order to calculate the parameters of step 1.
4) Use Abaqus2Matlab for obtaining the results from the Abaqus analysis that are needed in step 3.
5) Set up the Matlab code which will be executed in order to run the whole analysis procedure.
You should know that Abaqus2Matlab can be used for a variety of analysis procedures:
1) Optimization of a structure modeled in Abaqus
2) Performing materially and/or geometrically nonlinear analyses using advanced techniques which are not incorporated in Abaqus software
3) Perform mesh sensitivity studies
4) Train neural networks based on Abaqus results
5) Perform statistical analysis in data which are extracted from Abaqus finite element analyses, etc...
Best regards,
George
